Shrimps in Worcestershire sauce (comic book effect)

Assalamu’alaikum, muslim readers..
I post about my cooking experiments lately. This time let’s make shrimps in sauce. Actually, I wanna reveal two recipes but I decided to reveal it one by one. In second cook of this cook, I use a nicer camera. :mrgreen:

The Recipe

2 tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons | sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
1 teaspoon | fish sauce
1/4 teaspoon | soy sauce (kecap asin)
1/4 teaspoon | salt
1/2 tablespoon | sugar
1/4 teaspoon | pepper

prepare a bowl
put all the above ingredients in the bowl
stir them thoroughly

2 tablespoons | butter
3 cloves | garlic, chopped
1 cloves | small-size green onion, chopped
25-30 | shrimps, clean them
3-4 tablespoons | water
1  bunch (about 5-6 leaves) | mustard green, chopped

saute the butter
put the garlic and the green onion
saute for a while
put the shrimps in
stir until you don’t see any raw skin on the shrimps
put the sauce mixture
add water
stir them slowly
put the mustard green
stir again for a while
then put off the stove

I chose shrimps because it don’t take a long time to cook. Just find a simple recipe and you won’t leave your stomach hungry for too long. Choose a simple recipe that can suit for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner. Don’t just cook shrimps alone, put some healthy vegetable on it.


  • Don’t leave the tail on the shrimp, it’ll bother you while eating. I did that on my first cook.
  • I usually don’t use palm oil for sauteed food, I replace it with butter, canola oil, or soybean oil.

PS: Next time, I think I’d like to try this on chicken. I often meet chicken in Worcestershire sauce on wedding’s food menu.

I’ve been several times cook this food. This is the second recipe I’ve made. Same recipe, with additional color.

I change mustard green with:

1 bunch (about 5-6 leaves) | Napa cabbage (Chinese cabbage), chopped

and add this:

1 tablespoon | soybean oil
1 | egg

beat the egg
fry them to scrambled egg

2 | red chillies, chopped, put away the seed
2-3 | green onions, chopped

put the red chillies in the same time with the shrimps
put the scrambled egg and the Napa cabbage together after stir the sauce mixture
put the green onions right after them
